The Northern Foundation for Medicine and Health (NFMH) is a charitable nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization (status pending) supporting transformative healthcare in New York’s Hudson Valley and beyond. Our mission is to fund education, research, and health clinics that bring modern medicine and human spirit together.

The human body is like a finely engineered car, complete with structure, engine, fluids, and circuits. Yet without a driver, it cannot move. In the same way, the body requires consciousness – the soul – to bring it fully to life.
At the Northern Foundation, we believe the physicians and healers of tomorrow must understand both the machinery and the mystery of life. They must be educated not only in the sciences of anatomy and chemistry, but in the energies of empathy and the soul’s quiet wisdom that complete true healing.
Our Medical School
Our medical school is evolving the medical curriculum for a new era — where science and spirit come together to heal the whole person. We combine academic excellence with innovation, using modern tools and technologies to ensure students are fully prepared for the USMLE exams and receive exceptional hands-on clinical training.
We educate physicians who are as skilled in compassionate care as they are in clinical practice — blending technology with humanity, and knowledge with wisdom. Here, students learn not only how to treat disease, but how to help people live with balance, purpose, and vitality.
